Wakefield Repertory Youth Theatre Begins Rehearsals for Wizard of Oz WAKEFIELD, MA: Rehearsals are in full swing for Wakefield Repertory Youth Theatre’s production of the beloved play, The Wizard of Oz. Through the hard work and dedication from the talented cast, the characters from Munchkinland to Emerald City come alive in a fresh, new light. The Wizard of Oz tells a story about Dorothy and her search to find home after being blown away from Kansas to Oz. Soon accompanied by the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion, these characters face trouble with the Wicked Witch of the West and her flying monkeys.
