Your Theatre Announces 63rd Season

NEW BEDFORD, MA: Your Theatre Inc., a highly acclaimed community theatre company, will offer five major productions in its upcoming 63rd production season.

Come Back to the 5 and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean by Ed Graczyck is the season opener on September 17th. This nostalgic trip back to the 1950’s & 70’s will be directed by Robin Richard. In November, YTI offers the chilling tale of Lizzie Borden, Blood Relations, by Sharon Pollock directed by Stephen Kay. January brings a laugh a minute comedy, Woody Allen’s Don’t Drink the Water directed by Lawrence R Houbre, Jr. and in April YTI presents the World Premiere of a prize winning play by David Kucher, Sequel, directed by Edward J. Maguire. The 63rd season closes in June with Alan Ayckbourn’s hilarious comedy, Role Play, directed by Bob Gillet.

Along with its 5 Major Productions, Your theatre also offers special attractions throughout the year. One scheduled special attraction is The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. This delightful, humorous holiday play will be directed by Jennifer G. Palmer and will be performed at Gallery X, 169 William St., New Bedford December 11 – 13.

Founded in 1946, YTI is incorporated as a non-profit community theatre which seeks to enhance the cultural life of New Bedford, Southeastern Massachusetts, and nearby communities through the study and regular presentation of dramatic productions and other programs of high quality and professional standards.

The company also develops and encourages artistic talent through the establishment and operation of workshops, theatre productions and other dramatic training opportunities.
